Help Them Survive
On February 6, their world was shaken to its core. Two devastating earthquakes sent shockwaves and destruction through Turkish and Syrian cities and towns.
MedGlobal’s response was immediate, providing fuel for the Search and Rescue team, and life-saving medical supplies to the hospital.
We established mobile clinics to treat the victims and people who lost their homes and now live in camps or temporary shelters. The Clinic provides free medical services, medications, psychological support, and nutritional support for malnutrition.
We quickly deployed a medical team of 10 doctors with Trauma, Emergency Medicine, and Mental Health specialties from the US, accompanied by donated medical equipment and medications.
Ramadan is a time of giving, sacrifice and togetherness, and it’s by working together that we can ensure that our support makes a world of difference to survivors of the devastating earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

Hasan Husain, a four year old boy, was with his family visiting his aunt in the city of Salkin, in Idlib, NW Syria, when the 7.8 magnitude earthquake struck. The Search and Rescue team, known as the White Helmets, worked around the clock to save the victims. Seven family members including Hasan’s mother and sister died.
After 44 hours the rescuers noticed Hasan’s small hand waving under the rubble. He was quickly transported to a MedGlobal-supported hospital in Darkoush where a team of surgeons operated on his left foot. Hasan’s father and all members of the healthcare team were traumatized.
By supporting MedGlobal you can ensure that earthquake survivors like Hasan can receive the treatment they need this Ramadan.
