Pocus Training
This year at our 2023 MedGlobal Conference we are proud to offer a one-day workshop in Point-Of-Care Ultrasound, focusing on Trauma-related ultrasound, Lung Ultrasound and Basic Cardiac Ultrasound that will include short lectures with an ample amount of hands-on practice on standardized patients. The goal of this workshop is to build skills for those who are interested in volunteering with MedGlobal for future POCUS missions.

Essential Newborn Care Training
This one day program will introduce the concepts of ENC and digital learning as well as practice the hands-on skills needed to teach the course.The course is aligned with WHO quality standards for maternal and newborn health, small and sick newborns care, with focus on the rights of newborns, nurturing care, Point of Care Quality Improvement and strengthened links to care in the community.

SPHERE Training
The overall objective of this training is to provide participants an understanding of the challenges and dynamics of providing humanitarian assistance in a camp setting and how SPHERE standards can be utilized to improve and guide a response. The training will delve into the realities of serving populations in make-shift camps while implementing SPHERE by using the guided case study of the history of the Matamoros camp at the U.S.-Mexico border.
