EMERGENCY APPEAL
On March 5th, 2023, a devastating fire broke out in the Rohingya Kutupalong Balukhali refugee camps in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
The fire blazed for three hours in Camp 11, in an area where over 1 million Rohingya Refugees reside. Over 2,000 shelters were engulfed in the fire and 12,000 refugees left homeless.

MedGlobal’s team is on the ground providing medical assistance to burn victims and mental health support.

MedGlobal has provided medical healthcare services to over 160,000 patients since the beginning of its operations in Bangladesh. Our maternity and birth center programs have supported more than 25,000 refugee mothers and provided training to 84 healthcare workers, staff and volunteers in maternal and child health services.
