ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Executive Director provides visionary, knowledge-based, strategic leadership for effective implementation of the organization’s mission and goals. To do so, the Executive Director will work in collaboration with the people the organization serves, the Board of Directors, the President, and all the team, volunteers, and partners. They lead the organization in developing the knowledge, infrastructure, culture, and competencies necessary to grow as an internationally-respected organization. The Executive Director is responsible for all programs, services, and personnel, and ensures the organization’s efficient operation within the approved budget. The position demands a passion for global health, a commitment to working towards a vision of health in partnership with communities, and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of the organization .

Liaison and Procurements Officer

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Liaison and Procurements Officer is responsible for ongoing liaison and procurement with national municipalities and local partners to ensure that program activities are communicated in an effective and efficient manner across all local actors as well as to the international community, when necessary. The position holder is also responsible for the organization of distinction process and efficient management of project documentation​.

Program Manager – Colombia

ROLE DESCRIPTION

Responsible for in-country coordination and implementation of program and operations activities, adherence to logistics, human resources, administration, and security procedures. Serves as the central MedGlobal presence and point of contact in Colombia. This position works in conjunction with the on-site Clinical Coordinator in Cúcuta.

Program Manager – Lebanon

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Lebanon Program Manager will be responsible for managing, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of the programs and operational activities, and all subsequent expansion/extension as required, as well as adherence to logistics, human resources, administration, and security procedures. ​The Lebanon Program Manager will be responsible for defining program activities on the ground.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a small but rapidly growing global health organization, we are looking for a part-time Administrative Coordinator who will play a key role through providing administrative support to the leadership team.

HR Assistant

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a small but rapidly growing global health organization, we are looking for an HR Assistant who will play a key role in assisting with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, payroll, and other strategic initiatives. The HR Assistant will assist in reviewing and auditing employees and contractor payments to ensure they are paid in accordance with regulations, and recommending solutions to issues as appropriate.

FINANCE AND OPERATIONS MANAGER

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a small but rapidly growing global health organization, we are looking for a Finance and Operations Manager. The Finance and Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day financial and operational activities of all programs, including human resources administration, finance administrative activities, and reporting.

Advocacy Coordinator

ROLE DESCRIPTION

MedGlobal’s Advocacy Coordinator gives voice to the mission of our organization in efforts to achieve policy-related goals and objectives through direct advocacy with the U.S. government. This position coordinates closely with program staff, issue leads, and communications staff to craft and carry out advocacy initiatives on MedGlobal’s priority issues.

Volunteer Coordinator

ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an individual obsessed with organization,
documentation, communication and logistics. The ideal
candidate expects to review emails 24/7, responding
thoughtfully and with a sense of urgency. Before starting the
role, the candidate should be familiarized with current
MedGlobal missions. Supplemental training will be provided,
however please note a quick study and an eagerness for
learning will be critical to the success of this role. For
short-term medical missions, MedGlobal Volunteer
Coordinator should work closely with mission leader to help
include volunteers with specific credentials required for each
mission.

Missions Coordinator

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Missions Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, consolidating and ensuring smooth implementation of program activities and adherence to logistics, human resource, administration and security procedures. This position is integral to pre-mission planning, mission execution, and post-mission analysis and reporting.
